This is a 1168 watt unit. it is listed wrong on the site.

I purchased one of these a few months ago for a van build, so I could use the 12v engine alternator to charge up my 25.6v lithium house batteries.

It does the job, puts out a solid 40 amps, reading 1100+ watts on my battery shunt. It also works well charging in parallel with my solar array, and a 30 amp AC charger.

It also automatically knows to only charge the house batteries if the car is actually running. If you turn the car off the charge stops too. You can also wire in a remote accessory enable switch so you can also disable it while the car is running too, or have peace of mind to know it's off when the car is off.

I'm buying a second one so I can charge my house batteries at 80 amps if need be. I was hesitant at first to buy 2 because the amps/watts for this unit advertised did not compute. But after buying 1 I can confirm it is a 40 amps 1168 watt unit that hits 29.2 volts and works great for charging my 25.6v lithium batteries.

Thank you for your comments. And we already updated the listing.
